Palm Oil and Vegetable oil are the Same
Palm oil is taken from the oil palm tree which grows in tropical areas (mainly Latin America, Africa and some parts of Asia). The tree fruit is used to obtain the oil. The fruits have to age for a while before it produces enough oil to be collected. To harvest the fruits, people climb the trees and cut bunches of fruits with large knives. The process of extracting the oil in the seed is different from the process of the extraction of the pulp. Usually, the oil in the seed is extracted in mills that process oil seeds, cotton, and ground nuts. The seeds are grounded, heated and a solvent (something used to dissolve another substance, and is usually a liquid) is usually used to dissolve the oil. Then a filter is used to separate the oil and the solvent. Palm oil is taken from the pulp of the fruit. It is usually done by a large press at a processing mill. The first stage is to ground the pulp. Next, a clarifier is used to take the oil produced. Once the oil is clarified, it is packaged in bottles and sent to factories.
